Who We Are
Trinity Foods, Inc. is an innovative food company committed to producing premium quality food products for consumers around the globe. Our products are developed to fill what's missing from supermarket shelves overseas and tailored to local taste preferences.
What We Do
We are a food manufacturing company committed to adding value to the ingredients used in the products we produce. We are proud to know that the ingredients used in our products are the result of the dedication and care of family-owned farms and dairies in the United States. Our company is constantly developing new products destined for supermarket shelves in the U.S., Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
Our History
Our story begins with the immigration of the Hester family to the U.S. from Europe and immigration of the Jakob family from Switzerland. The Hester family migrated from Missouri and settled in Oregon in the 1920’s.
The patriarch of the Jacob family, Fritz Jacob, first immigrated to the U.S. from Rapperswyl, Switzerland in Canton Bern to Elgin, Illinois in the 1880’s to work as a watchmaker at the Elgin Watch Factory. Eventually, the Jacob family made their way out west to Oregon and Washington and settled on Government Island, to farm their own land. It was not an easy existence on Government Island as there was and still is no highway access to the island from either the states of Oregon of Washington. The families milked dairy cows and shipped milk by boat across the Columbia River to Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington daily. In the early 1940’s, Adin, and Rose Jacob Hester (Shawn Hester’s grandparents) left the island to purchase farmland in Aurora, Oregon.
Shawn Hester was raised to continue the Hester family tradition of generations in agriculture. The family’s farming operation in Aurora, Oregon t included: acres of organic and conventional crops, a commercial and purebred beef cattle operation, Guernsey and Holstein dairy, hogs, sheep, and other livestock.
This rich history in agriculture brings us to where we are today as a supplier of quality food and beverage products to the world.
